Don’t let anyone tell you that a new septic system can’t be installed on the Cape during the winter! Here’s proof that it can, 2/22/16, North Falmouth.
I was driving across town late Saturday afternoon, heading west, and the orange glow in front of me was magnetic. Like others out in their cars at that moment, I headed to the nearest west-facing beach as fast as I could. This is what I saw:
I was trying to capture a picture that would convey “really really cold outside”, and this was the best I could do, West Falmouth Harbor across from Chappy Beach frozen over. I saw mist rising from Buzzards Bay where the ocean was warmer than the air, but I couldn’t get close enough for a good picture. It was awesome to see!
This was from Saturday. Wind almost blew me over!
