Fun five seconds today on the Canal as the Mayflower heads home after restoration. My book group read Nathaniel Philbrick’s “Mayflower”, and we’re meeting today to discuss it. The book is the Falmouth Reads Together choice for this year. Lots of information none of us knew. An interesting book!
Last week I turned over this very wonderful home to a couple who will appreciate and enjoy it as much as I did. It was as perfect a home as anyone could ever have, especially during the lockdown. I couldn’t have been more comfortable and cozy, and being home day after day was, crazy though it sounds, a joy. I’ve made great memories here, and it’s a pleasure to pass it on to Pam and Mike, who will make their own great memories in their new Cape Cod home!
It’s hydrangea season, and there’s nothing that will stop the show like a hydrangea hedge in bloom on a foggy July morning. What a way to start the day!
Sad day here in Falmouth, the Nimrod was razed. What a deep loss.
Good distancing, masks, and a strong message.
