The Mountains of Martha’s Vineyard

Last evening the fog bank was so thick over the Vineyard, it looked like a southwest mountain range had appeared and changed a familiar view completely. This was taken at Menauhant Beach.

Filming the Filmers

Caught Channel 5 crew this evening at Old Silver Beach, as they were wrapping up a day of reporting on the effects of the coronavirus on the Cape. It couldn’t be more beautiful here at this moment, and it was a fitting way to close the segment.

Social Distancing at the Beach

A spectacular May day during the pandemic.

Ready, Willing and Able

Ok, 6 feet apart and with masks on, but where will you go? Bassetts will be mobbed, there’s no place to go once you get to the Vineyard, everyone will be anchoring at Sandy Neck. Washburn isn’t far enough. Maybe, like bird watching, more people will take up fishing. Speaking of bird watching, how come there are orioles everywhere?
