Winter Ode to Chappy

The first Sat in January was a perfect day to walk the length of Chappy and Black Beach, all the way to channel at the marsh. The tide was out, the only way this walk can take place; the wind was down, and the temps were up. And the dogs had to be the happiest creatures on earth. They ran, they leaped, they played.
