Falmouth Parade, 12/8/19

It was 41 and sunny Sunday, with no breeze, possibly one of the best weather conditions in a while for the annual parade. This has to be one of the best parades, or maybe it’s just me, who still wakes up every day happy to be in this just-about-perfect town, Falmouth, MA.
 
So many happy faces! From the fire engines to the kids, from the marching bands to the marching dogs, from the clowns to the funny cars, from the Citizen of the Year to Newcomers, Neighborhood Falmouth, and Gosnold, this was one heckuva parade! Heartfelt thanks to Michael, Maura, Susan and everyone at the Chamber, who make this happen every year!

A Cape Cod Thanksgiving

Some are flying, others driving, some just navigating the grocery store aisles. But a few are in the chilly water, doing what’s been done here for centuries: digging clams for the Thanksgiving feast. What’s your fave – chowder, stuffies, pasta with clam sauce, clam quiche- or something else? Whatever it is, best wishes for a warm and happy Thanksgiving!
